CURRICULUM VITAE     Training

While studying sculpture at St. Martins School of Art I realised clay was the material I wanted to use and explore.

Then went to Camberwell School of Art where Lucie Rie introduced me to throwing, ‘Teapots for discipline!’  Hans Coper mentored my architectural ceramics, "It has possibilities!"

On leaving, after gaining a BA Hons in three dimensional design with ceramics main and silversmithing subsidiary, in 1967 set up a workshop in Dulwich.

At first the output was tableware, individual work developed and gradually took over, mostly in porcelain.  Moved workshop to Gipsy Hill in 1974
